  • Varsity Quill Team scored 4th place in the Eastern North Carolina Regional Quill Competition. The team consisted of: Helena Thompson, Emily Heiges, Carole Brock, and Mystique Barnes. Helena Thompson scored 1st place in the Eastern Regional Quill Competition for the informational category of writing. Please congratulate Helena if you see her! Our Junior Varsity Quill Team scored 1st place in the region in the Regional Quill Competition. The team consisted of: Jianni Estrada, Jonathan Marroquin, Felecia Wells, and Mia Mallett. Jonathan Marroquin scored 1st place in the region for Junior Varsity Informational and Felecia Wells scored 1st place in the narrative category for the region. :)

  • Shout out to Ms. Baskin's Homeroom; they won the pizza party for raising the most for Pennies for Patients. When told they had the option of having the party or donating the proceeds back to Pennies for Patients, they chose to donate it back.
