Welcome to 1st grade!! This is my 6th year of teaching and my 5th year at Benhaven. I'm super excited to be your students' teacher this year. I will be spending a lot of time with your child this year learning so much about them and learning with them. Let me introduce myself to you. I am from Florida and moved to North Carolina about 13 years ago. I fell in love with North Carolina from visiting my husband's family and we knew that North Carolina was where we were meant to be. I have been married for almost 18 years and have 3 boys. My boys are my life and I love spending time at home with them. I love white chocolate, shopping, playing with my dogs, and reading. 

Parents are always welcome to come in and volunteer in my room. Parents, please communicate with me on a regular basis through notes, email or the dojo app. It is important that I be kept informed of any changes, illnesses, or events that may affect your child at school. Please know that you can always call and leave a message (919-499-4811).
