Welcome!   My name is Tara Grimes.  I am originally from St. Marys, GA.  I attended Ashford University where I completed my Masters in Elementary Education. I am excited to help my students grow this year and prepare for Middle School.  Fifth grade is an exciting year for the students as we spend a great deal of time on Science and Social Studies. I am the mother of two amazing children, Haleigh (9th Grade) and Joey (7th Grade). I moved to North Carolina in 2003 and it has become home. If I am not in the classroom or researching new things for my students, I can be found on the lake relaxing or reading a book.
