  • Free and Reduced Price Meals
The Harnett County Schools Child Nutrition Program provides free and reduced price meals for eligible students.

Children from families whose income falls below federal eligibility guidelines are approved for free or reduced priced meals.

You will only need to fill out one application for your household. Please list all children that attend Harnett County Schools on the application under the "Student Information" section.

You can pick up an application at your child's school.

  • Special Diet Needs
All meals served must meet patterns established by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. If a child, however, has been determined by a doctor to have special diet needs that would prevent the child from eating regular school meals, the school will make any substitutions prescribed by the doctor. If a substitution is needed, there will be no extra charge for the meal.
If a parent believes his/her child needs substitutions because of a medical condition, please contact our cafeteria manager, for further information.
