I am a Western Harnett graduate and grew up in the western part of Harnett County.  My father was an Army officer and I also served 8 years in the Army.  We both served in the 82nd Airborne together and actually made two airborne jumps together at Fort Bragg.  I lived in the eastern part of North Carolina for 25 years before moving back to Harnett County two years ago.
