Art Teacher

Hello! My name is Isabel Velez, I come from Colombia, South America.  This is my fourth year at Coats Elementary School, I've been teaching for 27 years from Kindergarden to 12th grade. 

I love spending time with my family, outdoor activities, visiting museums and traveling. I'm passionate for the fine arts.

I have a Bachelors degree from Caldas University in Colombia in Fine Arts, I have a degree in Education from Manizales University and I get my Master Degree in Interdisciplinary Areas of Education at Buffalo State University. 

I am very thrilled to be part of Coats Elementary, that was one of my goals.
