Hello! :)

I am the Art Teacher. I have been teaching and creating art here at NHPS for four years now! Teaching has been such an amazing experience and I couldn't ask for a better career. I hold a Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree with a concentration in painting and I am currently in school to further my knowledge in the educational world. I can't wait to make art together in class! \(^w^)/

I am also an artist outside of the classroom. You might find me taking photos or playing Pokemon Go in downtown Raleigh. You might even find me wondering around in art stores looking for the right paint. I always have a sketchbook on me so I can draw anything that catches my eye. I also like to hike in Raven Rock state park with my dog, Pepper. During the summer I like to kayak at Jordan lake or lake Wheeler in my free time. I have three favorite things in my life: my husband, my dogs Red and Pepper and my green Subaru.
