The Basics:

My name is Kristin Long. I will be your child's teacher this year. I am very excited about this year and can't wait to start the amazing journey we will go on together. 

I am very close with my family, especially my nieces and nephews. I love working with children because I believe I am a kid at heart. During the summers, I like spending time with my nieces and nephews; working at summer camps for my church and going to the beach.  

My Education:

After High School, I attended Wake Tech Community College, where I received my Associate Degree in Arts. In the Fall of 2015, I transferred to UNCW to major in Elementary Education. I graduated from Watson School of Education at UNCW in December 2017. After college, I came back home to work. Before coming to North Harnett Primary, I did Long-term Sub positions in Wake County for 3rd grade. 

My Childhood: 

I grew up in Fuquay Varina, North Carolina with my parents and three older siblings (1 sister and 2 brothers). I graduated from Fuquay Varina High School in 2013. While in High School, I played Softball and was a Sports Trainer for Football, Baseball and Soccer. Needless to say, I was very into sports and very busy with them.
