Hello!!  Let me tell you a little about myself! 

I grew up in Illinois and moved to North Carolina in 1993.  In 1996, I received my Associates degree from Sandhills Community College.  I was a teacher assistant in 3rd grade from 1996-2003.  In 2003, I received my Bachelor's Degree in Education at Fayetteville State University and began my teaching career in 4th grade.  I've taught both 4th and 5th grades and am currently teaching 4th grade.   

I have two children, one dog, one fiance, and three brothers.  My oldest son works in Iraq.  My youngest son lives in Illinois and works on a military installation. My dog, Miko, is my little sweetheart.  She is 14 1/2 years old and still likes to chase rabbits.  My fiance is a Master Technician. Two of my brothers live in Texas and the other lives in Iowa.

I love being a teacher and working at Overhills Elementary!!
