Welcome to my page! This is the start of my third year teaching English Language Arts at Highland Middle School.  I moved to North Carolina four years ago.  Before NC, I lived in Florida for 20 years.  I am originally from Buffalo, NY, and I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English from SUNY Geneseo.  I have taught various grade levels in both NY and FL.  I have three wonderful children, a new grandson and two Boston Terriers, Ozzie and Yankee.  In addition to teaching, I love interior design and hiking.  In 2018 I hiked all 40 NC State Parks!
