Welcome In!  I am so excited to be the 7th grade CCR teacher at Highland Middle School. I was born and raised in Lawrence, Kansas where I also attended the University of Kansas and earned my undergraduate degree. Before moving to North Carolina, I lived in Los Angeles, California where I earned my Master of Arts degree in Special Education at Loyola Marymount University. In February 2019, I began teaching at Highland Middle.  In my spare time I enjoy planning our next family adventures and road trips.  I am passionate about special education and I love helping my students work towards their goals and be their best selves!
