Welcome to 6th Grade ELA and Social Studies!!!

I am Mrs. Ashleigh Stern. This is my 3rd year here at Highland Middle School.  

I grew up in Upstate NY and found my way to teach in Harnett County Schools in 2007. I have several years of teaching experience in Elementary School prior to joining the team at HMS. I attended SUNY Cortland to earn my B.S. in Childhood Education, and then the University of Albany, to earn my M.S. Literacy Specialist degree. 

I am married to an Army Veteran and we have 3 amazing sons.
