Hello my name is Rebecca Sholar, friends and family call me Becky. This is going on my 3rd  year as a kindergarten teacher  and my 3rd year at Overhills Elementary. I am a North Carolina girl, born and raised.  Before starting at OES, I worked as a Pre_K teacher for 26 years working in 2 different preschool center  (18 years at one and then 4 years in the other) and then the past 4 years at Head Start. Teaching has always been my passion, I love teaching our leaders of tomorrow. I graduated from Kaplan University in 2013  with my Bachelor's degree and then returned to UNCW in 2017 to get my Teaching Licenses. I enjoy working here at Overhills Elemantary!
