Mr. Mark Choiniere
Mr. Choiniere is a native of Westfield Massachusetts where he spent most of his childhood and graduated from high school. His father had retired from the Air Force and settled in Westfield Massachusetts after a 20-year career.
After graduating from high school, Mr. Choiniere was married to his current wife where they went on to have 3 children and 6 grandchildren. At the age of 21, Mr. Choiniere enlisted into the Navy and served as a Quartermaster (Navigator) from 1983 to 2003. Upon retiring from the Navy, Mr. Choiniere returned to the place he grew up and attended college at Westfield State University. He graduated in 2005 with a BS in Liberal Studies with concentrations in Business Management, Geography, and Criminal Justice.
After graduating from college, Mr. Choiniere entered the private sector, in his home town, as the owner of Bentley Billiards, inc. The busines was sold in 2009 and Mr. Choiniere went to work for the Westover Job Corps as their Career Services Manager for 8 technical trades servicing 250 students.
After working for the Job Corps, Mr. Choiniere and his family made the decision to move south to North Carolina where he used his management experience to work for Blanton's Heating and Air as their Service Manager. Making a career change in 2019, Mr. Choiniere reentered college at Fayetteville State University where he is currently enrolled and progressing towards his Masters degree in teaching (MAT).
Mr. Choiniere enjoys teaching Social Studies to his 8th grade students and seeing them progress through the school year. Mr. Choiniere also enjoys spending time with his family by going on destination vacations and camping. He is also a member of the American Poolplayers Association where he competes locally, regionally and nationally.
