I have loved music for a long time! Originally I studied music performance with a concentration in Trombone and received my undergraduate degree from UNC- Greensboro in 2016. After a few years of teaching privately and teaching small groups I decided that teaching was the direction I wanted to go! I went back to UNCG to fullfill the state requirements to receive a teaching license for the state of North Carolina with a concentration in Instrumental Music. Currently serving as the new band director at Highland Middle School, I continue to perform and freelance in NC. I also currently hold a Trombone position with the Raleigh Symphony Orchestra.
