Welcome to 5th Grade! My name is Ethan Godwin (Mr. Godwin), and I am so excited to be your child’s teacher! I have graduated Western Governors University in Nov. 2019, with a Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Studies teacher K-8 and hold an NC Educator’s License. I am currently in graduate school for my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. This is my second year teaching at SHES and my second full year as a classroom teacher. I have been in the educational field, as a STEM Teacher/Tutor at Erwin Elementary for three years. I have also taught 1st Grade! Some of my hobbies are playing the piano, cooking, pranks, and family time! I cannot wait to get started learning and having a successful 5th-grade year!
