I am a 5th Grade teacher and I am so excited to be at Lillington-Shawtown Elementary School.

I have been teaching for over 26 years and have served in many capacities.  I am a graduate of East Carolina University twice (Bachelors and Masters) and Fayetteville State University (Masters).  I have taught all grades in elementary school and have taught in high school.  I have served as a reading intervention teacher, a curriculum coach, Reading First Grant coordinator and an assistant principal.  I have worked in Cumberland County schools for 17 years, Wake County schools for 5 years, Johnston County schools for 1 year and in a Charter School for three years. I have a grown daughter and live in Angier, North Carolina and love working with students of all ages.
