Welcome! My name is Mrs. Biamonte (previously Pope). I am thrilled to be at Benhaven again this year!

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from North Carolina Central University with a degree in Behavioral Science. I also earned my Early Childhood Education degree from Vance Granville Community College. Currently, I am working on the Master of Arts in Teaching program at North Carolina State University and will graduate in December 2022.

I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, and friends in my spare time. A few of my passions are reading memoirs, hiking, animals, yoga, pickleball, and traveling.

My goal as a teacher is to guide my students to become independent critical thinkers, confident communicators, and open-minded lifelong learners. I encourage active participation in all activities. I hope to foster a positive classroom environment where all students feel welcome and valued. Effective communication between families is an essential part of our classroom success!
