Hi! I teach Earth and Environmental Science and AP Environmental Science at HCHS. 

I grew up on Hatteras Island, NC where my school had a hatchery, osyter reef, and research pier. This sparked my love for the ocean, estuaries, and their preservation. I try to bring the same hands-on learning approach to my classroom, especially since environmental science is all around us. 

AP Environmental Science will be a year long course run along with one of two other year long courses. Students taking APES will take the AP exam in May

Earth and Environmental Science will be a standard semester long course.
