Experience:  This is my 7th year of teaching and my second year at Overhills. I have taught at both the middle and high school level in science. 

About Me:   Hi! My name is Jessica Aaron and I am so excited about the new year here at Overhills high school.  It has been an amazing, interesting and wonderful year and I am happy to be at OHS for this opportunity. 

I am from a town right outside of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina called Conway. I have a Bachelors degree from NC State University in Zoology and have even worked as an intern zookeeper and veterinary technician.  I decided a few years later that I enjoyed sharing the information with the public more, and so I got my Masters degree in teaching from Coastal Carolina University. I started teaching and that is where I have stayed.

I got married to my husband in June of 2020 which is what brought me to the Fayetteville area. My husband is active duty with the Army, currently stationed at Fort Bragg. We just welcomed our beautiful baby girl, Haylee in June of 2022. In addition, we have four fur babies: two dogs, Wiley and Scout and two cats, Penny and Lexi as well as one leopard gecko: Wasabi.  I love spending time with my husband, daughter and my family (when we go to visit them). In addition, my husband and I, enjoy watching movies, going thrifting, and much more. I also enjoy reading, arts and crafts, and playing board games. I am a huge Disney fan, so if you would like to talk about it just come find me.
