Hello and welcome to my page. I am the Exceptional Children's Homebound teacher for Harnett County Schools.  In 1996, I began my teaching career in Harnett County.  I have taught in Lee County and Harnett County.  In 2005, I began teaching homebound students for Lee County Schools at Southern Lee High School.  Once I started working with homebound students, I found working 1:1 with students was extremely rewarding.  It is my goal to help students achieve success while in the hospital/homebound setting.  In 2010, I achieved dual certification in Family and Consumer Sciences and Special Education.  When the position for a full time EC Homebound teacher became available, I applied for this special position.  Currently, I serve 12 students who are on Homebound status.  I work with all age groups and grades teaching students from Kindergarten to 12th grade.  Dedicating my life to the education of children has been an awesome experience.  I look forward to working with your children this year and unlocking their potential and possibilities.
