Hello everyone, I am Mr. Ray or Coach Ray and I will be your 5th grade Math teacher this school year. I am very excited to be on this journey with you all and look forward to the many fun times and obstacles we will face together. 

I graduated from Fayetteville State University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice. I obtained my Master’s Degree from Concordia University in Educational Leadership. I am currently working on my Doctorate Degree in Higher Education at Walden University.

PERSONAL LOVE: Coaching Youth Sports - I’ve been coaching youth football for over 26 years, as well as track and field. Love to mentor and being a positive role model for our youth, especially our young men.

FAMILY: I am married to a beautiful Hawaiian Queen and father to 8 children, ages: 25, 24, 12, 11, 10, 6, 5, & 3 years old.
