Hello! My name is Tiffany Mattson and this is my first year at Johnsonville Elementary School and fourth year teaching overall. I love reading and believe that a strong reading foundation is crucial to success in all subjects and life itself. There is nothing like getting lost in a good book and I hope to inspire the love of a reading in my students. 

I come from NYC originally, and have taught 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade. In addition to reading, I love to go bowling, explore, go to paint shops, spend time with my 9 year old son and run. I've been running for over 10 years, have taken on Chicago, NYC, and the Marine Corps Marathon (8 marathons overall!) 

I am excited to be a part of Johnsonville Elementary this year and see my students grow and learn!
