Welcome to Angier Elementary School! 

My name is Amber Mitchell.  This is my first year teaching at Angier Elementary School and I am so excited about this new adventure!  Before coming to AES, I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion and my Master of Divinity degree from Campbell University.  For four years, I served as the Program Coordinator for a Day Program for Adults with Special Needs.  My love for education and passion for teaching is what brought me to AES.  I love working with students and watching them grow academically, socially, and emotionally as they discover new things. 

I currently live in Erwin with my husband, Dustin, and my two-year-old son, Grayson.  We also have a black labrador named Luna, and a calico named Sophie.  Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, backpacking, and kayaking with my family!
