Welcome to Third Grade!

My name is Shaquelle Durham. This is my 4th year of teaching and my 1st year at Benhaven Elementary. I was raised in Hoke County (Raeford, NC) and I taught there for my first 3 years of teaching (grades 2 and 3). I love teaching 3rd grade because the students mature and start making a lot of connections. It's like fireworks, and so exciting to see! I graduated with my Masters in Elementary Education from Fayetteville State University and have a current teaching license. I love building relationships with my students and building their confidence as well.

I love spending time with my family! We have a family of seven, so they keep us on our toes. I enjoy reading, crafting, shopping, enjoying adventures, and making memories. My favorite places to spend money is TeachersPayTeachers, Starbucks, Amazon, Jasie's Vinyl Store, Marshalls, Ross, Target, and Ollies's. My favorite colors are red and shades of purple. My favorite restuarants are Maggiano's and Carrabbas. My favorite place to visit is Charleston, SC. It is beautiful!
